Information We CollectAccount Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password through Firebase Authentication.Profile & Onboarding Data: We collect your name, BMI, age, weight, height, and gender during the onboarding process to personalize your experience.Progress & Streak Data: We track your streak days and progress within the app to provide motivation and goal tracking.Contacts Access: With your explicit permission, Uncrave may access your contacts so you can share the app or send join invitations to others. This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time.Photo & Camera Access: With your explicit permission, you may upload before and after photos to Uncrave using the camera or photo gallery. This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time.App Protection Preferences: When you enable our app protection features, we collect and store:
- Your protection preferences (which apps you choose to protect against)
- Protection strength level (light/medium/strong)
- Whether protection is enabled or disabled
- Custom intervention messages you createImportant: We do NOT monitor your actual app usage or track when you access other apps on your device.App Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to monitor app usage patterns and improve functionality. - Your chosen apps to protect against (e.g., "UberEats," "DoorDash")
- Your intervention strength preference (light, medium, strong)
- Custom messages you create for interventions
- Whether protection features are enabled or disabledHow Protection Works:
- Interventions are triggered when you return to our app, which may indicate attempted food ordering
- All intervention logic runs within our app only
- You maintain complete control over other apps on your device
- Protection can be disabled instantly at any time6. User Rights & Account ManagementAccount Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly through the app:
- Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account
- Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
- All personal data, progress, photos, and preferences are permanently removed
- Any active subscriptions are automatically cancelled
- You will be signed out immediatelyData Access & Correction: You may request access to or correction of your personal data by emailing [email protected]Preference Management: You can modify or disable app protection features at any time through the app settingsCommunication Preferences: You can enable or disable push notifications through the app settingsData Portability: Upon request, we can provide you with a copy of your personal data in a commonly used format7.
